Giovanni Antonio on Trump Flags
Last time we were in Jefferson City, Missouri these same 2 were there with this flag. What struck me was there were hundreds of people on the other side with American flags and here were these 2 mocking us with their trump flag. Yet, you know they think they’re the patriots.
So this time I came prepared. After the march when we got back to the steps of the Capitol, here they came to taunt us with their trump flag.
I unpacked my sign and ran down there to stick it in their faces. That lady cop quickly stepped in between us until she could tell I had no other intentions than standing there silently.
The look on their faces was absolutely priceless. It seriously warmed my heartbreak. After they read it, they looked so embarrassed, which is something I consciously try to never make another human feel. I guess, sometimes it’s warranted. This was one of those times. One looked so taken aback, he turned his back to me.
I love my country, and until 2016 I was always very proud to be a 1st generation American citizen. Yes we always had problems, but there was still much to be proud and thankful for.
It’s devastating to me these people took that away from me. And they are still actively supporting the destruction of the Constitutional Pillars of America.
After a few minutes other people came off the steps and joined me. The first guy who stepped up next to me was holding a giant American flag. Although he had no clue what my sign said. Thanks Universe.
P.s. I urge others to use this tactic. Don’t argue or say anything to them. Embarrass them by showing or pointing out their own actions.
